The Network Communications subject covers the fundamentals of computer networking and data transmission. The uses of a top-down method is based on the TCP/IP Internet protocol stack. Starting with the importance and typical uses of computer networks, the method explores further into the technical aspects of data transfer. We will gain a better grasp and appreciation of how the network works by engaging in a variety of lessons and projects, including live learning, reading relevant resources, and applying question and answer methods. Aside from that, we will be required to perform a few labs and class activities that will allow us to implement what we have learnt in class in the real world. We will also explore how to design a floor plan and which hardware devices are appropriate for usage in a floor plan. Other than that, we will observe how the assigned IP address relates to the floor plan. During the question and answer session with Dr. Madni, we will have the opportunity to expand our knowledge in this course as we study about Network Communications. With the guidance of our lecturer, Dr. Madni, we will have the opportunity to build and strengthen skills and competences in our career field at the conclusion of the semester. As a result, as Computer Science students, this course is incredibly beneficial. We hope that by completing this project, we will be able to put everything we have learned in this course into practise in a real-world setting.
